Future Bail Bonds Criminal Justice Reform Scholarship

To support and empower future leaders in this space, we’re proud to offer the Future Bail Bonds Criminal Justice Reform Scholarship — an annual award designed to help students pursuing careers in criminal justice, social work, law, public policy, or a related field.
Scholarship Award
- Amount: $2,000
- Number of Awards: 1 annually
- Deadline to Apply: December 1st (annually)
- Winner Announced: January 5th
Eligibility Criteria
To be considered for this scholarship, applicants must:
- Be a high school senior, college student, or graduate student currently enrolled or accepted at an accredited U.S. institution.
- Have a minimum GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.
- Be pursuing a degree in:
- Criminal Justice
- Law
- Public Administration
- Sociology or Social Work
- Political Science
- Pre-Law or related studies
- Submit a 500–700 word original essay on the prompt below.
Essay Prompt
“How would you reform one aspect of the criminal justice system, and why?”
Share your personal insight, academic knowledge, or lived experiences that inform your approach to this topic. Be specific, solution-oriented, and thoughtful in your proposal.

Selection & Notification
All applications will be reviewed by the Future Bail Bonds scholarship committee. The winner will be selected based on originality, thoughtfulness, and alignment with our mission. The selected student will be notified via email and announced on our website and social media platforms.
